Brideshead Revisited Again

For lovers of Evelyn Waugh's study of "what is theologically termed 'the operation of Grace', that is to say, the unmerited and unilateral act of love by which God continually calls souls to Himself", there will be a new screen adaptation released in England in September and presumably in other countries before Christmas. According to the press release Chatsworth House, Derbyshire will be the location of Marchmain House.

Concerning Chatsworth House it is owned by the Duke of Devonshire and the first house was built in 1552 by Bess of Hardwick, having subsequently undergone various renovations and restorations through the centuries. It is of historical interest to Catholics since Mary, Queen of Scots, was detained there intermittently between 1569-1584.
