St. Mary and St. Nicholas, Littlemore
The latest news from our President is she has been enjoying herself in Oxford attending a Patristics conference and had the pleasure of making a pilgrimage to sites associated with Cardinal Newman, including his beloved Littlemore and the Birmingham Oratory.
The photo above depicts the church built on the initiative of Newman in 1835 while Anglican vicar of the university church of St. Mary the Virgin, Oxford. It was described as "not so much a sermon-house, as a temple to the MOST HIGH."
